Last night BIMA celebrated the 31st BIMA Awards, with the title of Grand Prix awarded to WCRS for its campaign for Women’s Aid.

This year, for the first time, BIMA also awarded a trophy for ‘Brand of the Year’, with Always (P&G) scooping up the title, largely in recognition of their game-changing ‘Like a Girl’ campaign.

Rufus Leonard was named as Agency of the Year, and Startup of the Year was won by Seenit, a tech business bringing crowdsourcing to video production. Agencies that took home multiple wins included Leo Burnett (with Holler and Atelier) and AKQA, although this was the year that no one agency dominated.

Winners were announced at the industry wide party last night (17 September 2015) headlined by legendary DJ Norman Jay MBE at One Embankment attended by over five hundred of British digital’s leading lights.

The BIMA Awards were judged by people of influence within the UK digital sector. The 2015 jury was made up of 30 industry experts from brands and agencies, including Sony Music Entertainment, Mr President, New Look, Vodafone, KPMG and SapientNitro.

BIMA would like to take this opportunity to thank our Headline sponsor Workfront, major sponsors Adestra and ORM, and Amaze, Amoveo, Deltek, Dock9, Droxic, FEB Digital, IADigital, Manifesto, Only, Propeller, QA, Redweb, Resource IT, Retriever New Business, Sitecore, toinfinity and Wirehive.
