We sat down with Nancy to discover her views on this year’s BIMA 100. This is what she told us:

What did you judge? Champions for Change

What did you find most inspiring about judging this year’s BIMA 100 entries?

I judged the Champions for Change category and there were really some amazing examples of how so many individuals are going above and beyond to make our industry a more empathic, human focused place to be and work.

What’s the most challenging part of judging the BIMA 100?

Everyone who was shortlisted deserves a commendation, it was a challenge to narrow the shortlist down.

Is there a common denominator in the people who are part of this year’s BIMA 100? What is it?

The common denominator this year was the judges desire to shortlist those who were perhaps lesser known in the industry but making great strides in changing culture or status quo. We really wanted to provide a platform for some great ideas, knowing that inclusion in the 100 could be the start of moving the idea to the next level – reaching a much greater audience (and of course an opportunity to be congratulated and thanked by a significant number of people!)

What did you find most surprising about judging this year’s entries?

There were quite a few partnerships – which I think shows that collaboration is a fertile breeding ground for success!
