BIMA and the GLA (Greater London Authority) present the London Enterprise Adviser Network and how to get involved.
What: On Tuesday 23rd July 6.00 -7.30pm City Hall will be hosting BIMA volunteers and STEM Ambassadors to tell them more about how they can deepen their impact on careers education activities in schools across London.
Why: It is a chance to learn more about how to volunteer as an Enterprise Adviser as part of the London Enterprise Adviser network (LEAN).
Who is it for? People working in the Digital/Tech sector, who have the capability to influence senior leadership teams in secondary schools and FE colleges across London.
Other discussion notes: As an Enterprise Adviser you will get the chance to work with the Careers lead in a school and will be able to support the development of the school careers strategy that will enable all students to make informed decisions about their future. The minimum commitment from you – a regular half termly meeting for one academic year. In return you will be offered ongoing training, resources and access to a national network of over 1000 enterprise advisers. You can work with a school local to you or that shares your focus.
