What?

BIMA Beat is our platform for digital creatives to showcase their work. It’s got clout – because it’s driven by BIMA’s Creative Council, Sony Music UK’s 4th Floor Creative and Spotify. It builds reputations – every quarter there’s the chance to make the final selection or be crowned the quarter’s winner by some of the best in the business. And it’s a safe, rewarding space – we launched BIMA Beat to support and galvanise the UK digital creativity community, so taking part is all about the positivity.

Join us for our first event of 2021 as we kick off the year with a bang, talking to some of the UK’s most inspiring creatives as they showcase their work, predict what is on the horizon and inspire you to create.

There’ll be some incredible, inspirational work on display – we’d urge you not to miss it.

Our Speakers:

Sara Pouri, Creative Director at Analogfolk

Sara is an established creative director and mentor. Her relentless drive to answer problems in unexpected ways has resulted in AnalogFolk’s most impactful and awarded campaigns to date – BigUP.AI and #BeatsDaisyChallenge.

She also mentors for the Creative Mentor Network – helping the next generation of diverse talent find their passion in the ad industry, and was named as one of Campaign magazine’s Future Creative Leaders.

Jessica Mullen, Founder & MD at CreateFuture

Jessica is a member of the BIMA Scotland Council and she has been in digital for over 16 years (yes, it’s hard to believe). With a client service heritage, she has successfully ran multi-million pound projects, accounts and agencies.

Jessica started her career as an e-learning content developer. Full of ambition. she quickly progressed to Production Director before making the transition to Account Director. Agency life beckoned. In 2008, Jessica joined the digital agency Realise where, as Client Services Director, she led the account and project management teams. During that time the agency grew from 40 to 120 and transformed from technical design and-build to strategic full-service. In 2013, she joined the UX consultancy Nile. As Managing Director the business tripled in turnover (and profit!) in less than three years.

Last year Jessica decided she was ready to do it for herself, taking the brave move to start her own business. CreateFuture is a strategic, creative consultancy, working in and alongside clients such as Penguin, Expedia, the BBC and Prudential to quickly and collaboratively tackle brand and marketing challenges head on.

Ian Greenhill, Managing Director at Studio Something

Ian Greenhill is co-founder of Studio Something a creative studio on a mission to make something people genuinely like. They make stuff for brands (such as Coca Cola, Royal Bank of Scotland & Innis & Gunn), they make stuff for TV (The Times described their BBC show ‘A View from The Terrace’ ‘the best football show on tv’) and they make they own brands and invest in some too.
