Brought to you by the energy and enthusiasm of Laura Vipond of Karmarama and Charles Parkinson of Unity and Motion we hope this will be a common and regular feature in the BIMA Social calendar across the UK.
This first event of 2019 is aimed at experienced road bike cyclists. The classics season is upon us and the monuments are just around the corner. The BIMA Bike Ride 2019 Part One is the first of are a series of rides that bring together people within the digital sector that have a passion for riding bicycles. This ride may not have monument status but Barhatch Lane is a challenge and will test your legs.
We are planning more events later in the Summer, offering routes of differing levels to allow this community to grow.
The plan: meet at 1000 am ready to hit the road by 1030 am sharp. A well-earned lunch at the end at the Watermill Inn to round off the event. End finish time is approximate.
Meet up and finish: Watermill Inn, Reigate Road Dorking Surrey RH4 1NN . The venue has a car park and is a 5 minute cycle from Dorking Station

We are asking for a £30 registration fee from members to cover the cost of lunch
Places are strictly limited to 20 riders.

This is a social event organisation by the members for the members. It is not a formal event. BIMA is not providing support vehicles so please ensure you are able to fix punctures etc. BIMA bears no responsibility for any injury, loss or damages that may occur during the ride. This first event is for experienced, keen riders. Riders take part at their own risk.
There are no soigneur’s, so please bring your own water and any energy snacks you may need for the ride.
Road bikes only please so everyone can keep pace.
