How do you capture the voice of a nation and make it visual? How do you manage the expectations of a massive team of stakeholders and keep them focused? 

Nile reveals some of the service design practices and principles from its recent project to design the new suite of polymer banknotes for RBS – the Fabric of Nature.

Ruth has been a Service Designer since 2010 and designs simple and meaningful services that help businesses to form deep and lasting relationships with their customers. Ruth’s has a strong visual design background, including sketching and prototyping skills, which help her to effectively explain and share research and designs.

Ryan Kane - RBSRyan Kane, Senior Designer at RBS


Ryan is a Senior Designer at the Royal Bank of Scotland. He set out to have career as an audio engineer but his love and aptitude for problem solving led him to Service Design where he works on both technology and creative design projects. Ryan is human centred, in both work, family life. 


 


 



 



Gavin Walker, Chief Content Creator at Nile

Gavin simplifies the complex. He has more than two decades of experience as a visual storyteller for many of the world’s biggest broadcasters including the BBC, Sky and Reuters. He has a strong intuitive understanding of people and systems. He uses that understanding to shape and share information with stakeholders.
