Peppa Wise, Account Executive, WhiteHat
Peppa works in the commercial team at WhiteHat, partnering with strategic enterprise organisations to design and implement apprenticeship programmes. Peppa works predominantly with organisations within the financial services, software and media industries.
Peppa’s background is working in senior commercial roles at high growth UK tech start ups. She joined WhiteHat to become part of a company driving significant social change.
Jane Newell Brown, MD, silverspace
Jane Newell Brown is a member of the BIMA Mentoring Council and professional advisor to the organisation’s mentoring scheme. Jane’s passion for people, their development, growth and success has led to her work focus over the last fifteen years. Working primarily with young, fast-growing owner/partner led businesses she helps business leaders spend less time dealing with people issues and more time with their clients and developing their businesses.
With a particular interest in acquiring, retaining and growing talent she is the co-author of a major best-selling book for both agency and in-house recruiters ‘The Professional Recruiter’s Guide’ published by Kogan Page, now going into its third edition. Her second book, ‘A Complete Guide to Recruitment’ is also published by Kogan Page.
George Mann, Account Executive, WhiteHat
George works predominantly with enterprise organisations as a WhiteHat Account Manager, providing counsel and support to allow them to access diverse talent, future proof their existing workforce through digital and technical upskilling and invest in critical capabilities while utilising their Apprenticeship Levy.
He specialises in working with media agencies, drawing on his experience in PR and Media Relations at one of IPG’s leading agencies, Weber Shandwick.
As a Teach First ambassador, George is driven by a desire to continue promoting social integration and tangible opportunities for underprivileged communities in the U.K.
Stephanie Matthews, Partnerships Director, Creative Equals
Stephanie Matthews is Partnerships Director for Creative Equals, a not for profit championing inclusion & diversity in the creative sector. Prior to this she held senior roles in marketing at the Virgin Group and the RAC and advertising research for ITV and Channel 4. Outside of the day job, she’s an active member of a number of industry diversity initiatives including the women’s network Bloom UK as 2019 President, Stonewall’s School Role Model programme and the Media Trust mentoring programme.
Nadya Powell, Co Founder at Utopia, Chair of BIMA Diversity & Inclusion Council
Nadya is Chair of BIMA’s Diversity Council. She is on a mission to deliver business change by harnessing the power of creative thinking. As the co-founder of Utopia she is doing exactly that – Utopia is a culture change consultancy that ‘Re-wires Business for Age of Creativity’.
Nadya is also the co-founder of Innovation Social which is an affiliation of innovation leaders from agency, brand and startup worlds who believe that innovation will disrupt UK business for the better.
