Harvey Weinstein, Pestminster, Kevin Spacey, #metoo – it seems like the flood gates have opened and we’re taking a huge step forward in recognising the shocking incidence of sexual harassment across industries. Yet there is still huge confusion on some of the basics – what are a women’s rights when it comes to sexual harassment, what are the right things to do when you experience something that makes you uncomfortable, how can we remove harassment in all its forms. If knowledge is power – right now we are all too often powerless.
This masterclass has been designed specifically for those people who may not yet have management responsibilities and want to know their rights so they can help create positive workplaces. We are over the moon to be joined by Kathryn Dooks who is an Employment Partner at Technology and Digital Media Law Firm, Kemp Little LLP. Kathryn will provide an overview of the law regarding discrimination and harassment then, through a series of real life case studies, we will explore different scenarios and how they could be managed.
