BIMA Hangouts – Coronavirus, HR & You

Posted by BIMA

BIMA Hangouts – A practical, forward thinking & interactive session focusing on the challenges presented by the Coronavirus Outbreak.

Online Only Event: We will send you a meeting link once you sign up .

In these sessions you’ll be able to access expert support and advice to help you manage the next few weeks/months successfully.

What?

The outbreak has thrown up a thousand HR-related questions you’d never have needed to ask just a few weeks ago. Whether you’re an employer or employee, if you feel you’re (home)working in the dark, Helen Watson, HR Director at Kin+Carta Connect, Victoria Brown, HR Consultant, Siobhan Brunwin, People Director at MullenLowe and Sally Boulton, Head of Talent at Tribal Worldwide London are here to answer your questions, such as:

  • I don’t believe my employer is taking coronavirus seriously. Can I refuse to work? / My employee is refusing to work – what can I do?
  • My maternity leave is about to end. What do I do about childcare?
  • My self-isolation period is over but I still feel unwell. What should I do?
  • I feel I need more support with homeworking. How do I talk to my employer about it? / How do I support my team whilst homeworking?
  • How should I be treating annual leave right now?

Why?

Our Hangouts sessions cut through the rumour and misinformation and arm you with practical information you can put to work in your business. This session in particular is essential for anyone worried that their situation hasn’t been covered by the more general guidance available.
