What?
How do you know your attraction, recruitment and retention procedures aren’t alienating some of the people you want to attract, recruit and retain?
Join us for our Masterclass, where a panel of experts will help you explore the issues, review your procedures and help you ensure that, next time you recruit, no one is unwittingly disadvantaged.
The BIMA Inclusion and Diversity Council will also be launching its new toolkits designed to help make your journey to becoming a more inclusive and diverse organisation easier.
Why?
In 2019 the Tech Diversity and Inclusion Report shone a light on matters of inclusion and diversity within the Digital and Tech sector. As a direct result of the report, the BIMA I&D Council have developed ten actionable toolkits to guide and support BIMA members on their journeys to build inclusive, diverse working environments.
The toolkits offer advice and support in a wide range of areas including:
Inclusive design
Race & ethnicity
Sexual orientation
Disability (visible, non-visible and neurodiverse)
Mental wellbeing
And others..

Ross Taylor, Founder of Hidden (BIMA 100 Champion of Change)
After 15 years in agency recruitment, Ross realised things needed to change. In June 2018, with co-founder Richard Bloom, Hidden was born to change the game. With the mission to create talent and culture strategies for a better working world, Hidden puts people at the centre of its decision making whilst providing a service that pushes Diversity. The business works with leading digital, creative and technology businesses from the inside; placing Talent Acquisition Partners onsite, building more Diverse and effective teams from within, all powered by Hidden’s unique mobile app which completely removes bias from the hiring process whilst increasing efficiency.
Alongside running Hidden, the business partners went on to found Pairents in April 2019, a job sharing platform that challenges the notoriously unwelcoming nature of the digital and tech industry to returning parents who require a more flexible way of working.
Ross is passionate about mental health and promoting the importance of positive mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.
