Our speakers will be giving short 8 minute presentations on ‘The Future of Content: tackling audience fragmentation’ followed by questions from the audience and discussion hosted by BIMA.

Gina will be looking at how audiences & channels in today’s digital world do not require more content/more noise; just better targeted, more nuanced versions of content, to meet specific audience needs as part of a premium customer experience’.
Gina Roughan, Director of Content Services, Zone
Gina leads the content services practice across Zone, working with B2C, B2B and non-profit clients to define effective content strategies, quality guidelines, optimisation and measurement frameworks and effective onshore and offshore production processes, all in the name of effective multi-channel CX.
Tom’s focus will be challenging (and complimenting) some of Gina’s views around content production, but will also be exploring the benefits of producing a high quantity of content and talking from his experience in working on international content production projects.
Tom Hall, Founder, Contented Brothers
After an (unfinished) PhD on tudor dietary guides Tom was co-founder of t5m, an online television network that produced 100s of hours of celebrity and event focused branded content. At Contented Brothers his work with clients centres on content strategy, maintaining a focus on the creation of effective and purposeful content.
Matt’s focus will be from a designers viewpoint understanding accessible and inclusive desgn. Matt’s experience spans creative disciplines including branding, UI/UX design, illustration, animation and art direction, and he now focuses on accessible and inclusive design, for which he is a keen advocate.
Matt Roberts, Digital Designer, Sightsavers
He has written for Creative Review about being a colour-blind designer, and he helped to create Sightsavers’ Perspectives exhibition at the D&AD design festival in 2018, which encouraged designers to make sure their work is accessible for everyone. He has also worked with global banknote manufacturer De La Rue to develop a more inclusive approach to designing banknotes around the world.
David will be focusing on future of content, and how brands can measure, drive and monetise their content strategy.
David Lockie, Founder and CEO, Pragmatic
David is the founder and CEO of Pragmatic, a 50 person digital agency based in Brighton, offering strategy & consultancy, branding & design and development services to clients such as Sage, Bacardi, DPD, ITV and The Economist. avid is also the co-chair of BIMA Blockchain Council and also heads up Pragmatic’s sister brand and blockchain focused agency Dcent.
