Blockchain technology is set to disrupt the digital landscape as we know it, so upskilling in this area is essential if you want your business to adapt and thrive.

Pragmatic has a keen interest in the world of blockchain (have you checked out our recent project for Coinbase Commerce yet?). So much so that we’ve teamed up with the folks at ConsenSys in running a 3 day Smart Contract Developer training program this November.

Become a certified Smart Contract Developer

The training offered by the ConsenSys Academy will give participants the core skills needed in Smart Contract coding, testing and deploying. It’s open to anyone who has an interest in becoming a blockchain developer (no experience in Ethereum necessary!), but ConsenSys have recommended that all participants have at least 1 year’s development experience – preferably in web applications.

ConsenSys will be delivering the Smart Contract Developer training at the Pragmatic offices in Brighton on 5th – 7th November, and you can find a full breakdown of the course here.

Those who attend a minimum of 80% of the course will get a certificate of completion and have the opportunity to take an exam to earn a certificate of proficiency. Gaining a Smart Contract certificate is the first step in becoming a fully fledged blockchain developer, so if you see blockchain playing a part in your business, this training session is a great place to start.
