The event is taking place in Gambledown Farm, New Forest across two immersive days on 12-13 September with guests invited to camp or glamp overnight.
The two-day festival addresses the alarming reports that nearly 70% of people in the digital industries admit to feeling stressed by their work, with some acknowledging symptoms including headaches, anxiety attacks, sleeplessness, indigestion, continual tiredness or similar. With the term ‘fireside’ historically conveying open and friendly conversations, the fireside festival actively disregards the stigma surrounding mental health and wellbeing, and demonstrates practical, honest and safe ways for digital leaders and their teams to create a better cultural at work.
Guests have the opportunity to embrace the outdoors and pitch their own tents for as little as £50 or invite up to six people to glamp together in safari style modern tents, that sleeps 6 (2 double beds and 2 singles) and feature a kitchen, bathroom, dining & living areas for £495. Teams can expect festival-style food, drink, mindful group activities and inspiring talks from keynote speakers.
Etch Group Managing Director, Tom Frame signed on as a sponsor noting that “whilst talking about the wellbeing of your staff is important, we believe businesses like us need to actively invest in improving the culture and allow teams to unplug and get to know each other as real people, that’s why we’re sending our teams to Fireside Festival”.
Digital teams are invited to purchase tickets via Eventbrite.
