Interfacing The Future x The Aura Concept Car Launch 2021

On the 9th of November, interface design, innovation and digital technology agency – Conjure will be hosting Interfacing the Future 2021. Through talks and a panel discussion, the event will explore the innovations and ideas that are driving change in the next generation of interfaces and interactivity. 

For this year’s event Conjure will be showcasing for the first time in London the Aura concept car, a unique opportunity to see this cutting edge electric sports car in all its glory. Doors will open at 13:30, with talks and Q&A running through the afternoon, at 18:00 we’ll be showcasing Aura and hearing from the vehicle design team in person.

James Davis

‘Accelerating Innovation In The NHS’ with James Davis, Director of Innovation at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust

James has over 15 years experience in innovative solutions-based IT roles in both the private and public sectors. With a focus on health and social care, he has vast experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams nationally. James inaugurated the Innovation and Digital Board for North and East London CSU in 2018. Since then has championed innovation throughout the NHS, most recently joining Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust as Director of Innovation. James demonstrates proven methodologies in developing clear strategic responses to organisational needs and aligning this with the desired outcomes. James is driven by a desire to improve outcomes and efficiency through innovation, working in healthcare, this has an enormous impact on both NHS patients and wider society.

Hattie Willis

‘How Technology Enables Innovation, But Business Models Drive It’ with Hattie Willis, Founder of Guessworks

Hattie is the founder of GuessWorks, an entrepreneurship education company, bringing startup skills to accelerators, corporates and universities. As former Head of Training at Rainmaking, she designed and delivered innovation programs and workshops with corporates including Jaguar Landrover, Lloyds Banking Group,DHL, and Experian to name a few, built a digital learning platform to scale their innovation education, and coached impact startups and accelerators in her spare time. She’s also a former Venture Builder, with hands-on experience conceiving, testing and pitching ideas for investment. When she’s not running workshops today, you’ll probably find her playing with a new business model or startup idea.

Mark Rivers

‘Marine UX – Designing Interfaces For The Helm Of The Future’ with Mark Rivers, Interaction Design Manager at Raymarine

Mark Rivers leads the user interface design team at Raymarine, a UK manufacturer of electronic navigation equipment for the recreational boating market. Mark previously worked at Samsung and Cambridge Consultants Ltd, and originally studied industrial design at Northumbria. His passion is bringing new technology to assist and delight, rather than harass and confuse users. Doing this from the comfort of someone else’s boat is a great bonus. He has recently worked on Axiom’s LightHouse operating system, the design of Raymarine’s charts, thermal nightvision cameras, radar UIs, and mobile apps.

David Cullimore

‘Understanding The Innovation Game’ with David Cullimore, Head of Innovation at Prodrive Ventures

David is Head of Innovation at Prodrive Ventures, the investment arm of the motorsport and advanced engineering company Prodrive. Prodrive is best known for its motorsport activities, but today is much broader than that and involved in a range of projects and sectors. Having been at Prodrive Ventures since its inception, David has championed innovation and helped define the investment model. He also leads The RAPID Challenge, an innovation initiative created by Prodrive for hardware start-ups. Prior to joining Prodrive Ventures, David was a motorsport designer and a part of the Aston Martin World Endurance Championship and Red Bull Racing Teams.
