All software evolves over time and so its important brands don’t stand still. Since Sitecore 6, Sitecore versions have had a three-year lifecycle and 2019 sees the end of Sitecore 8’s cycle. As of December 2018, Sitecore 8.2 moved from mainstream support to extended support. Sitecore customers that don’t want to risk falling behind should start considering their Sitecore 9 upgrade now.
