Dan is a marketing services corporate finance specialist. He acts as lead adviser to clients on strategy, acquisitions, disposals and management buyouts as well as the fundraising of both debt and equity. He has over ten years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions, and eight years under his belt as both Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of marketing services SMEs.
He always starts by developing a thorough understanding of his clients’ aspirations and their business’s culture, clients, USPs, operations and staff. From this, he develops strategies to work with his clients collaboratively to deliver their goals and maximise shareholder returns.
Dan’s first-hand sector knowledge allows him to advise clients from a unique perspective. He knows what it is like to run an agency as well as being able to predict what buyers will consider in making an acquisition and the issues that are important for a successful integration post-transaction.
Dan also has an extensive background in public company work for AIM-listed clients. He has acted as reporting accountant for initial public offerings, reverse takeovers and significant acquisitions. Additionally, he is well versed in preparing pre-lending reviews for funders and due diligence for buyers. This is complemented by Dan’s expansive involvement across other entrepreneurial businesses including food, professional services and facility management transactions. He draws freely on this experience to ensure that transactions run smoothly.
